Medium density fiberboard(MDF) is a composite wood product. Its made out of woodfibers glued together with resin, heat, and pressure. The density of MDF is usually higher than plywood and particle board. MDF is valued for its insular qualities in sound and heat. MDF is a poplar materials for making furniture, shelving, laminate flooring, decorative moulding, doors , cabinetry, moulding and so on because it is smooth, uniform, and wont warp. MDF are often covered in a veneer or laminate or painting.MDF has many advantages like Its very smooth and easy cutting and good for slotting. Also, it can be nailed, glued, screwed, stapled, or attached with dowels like other composite wood products.
